Gainesville Modern 2019 Drinks and Dwellings
The second iteration of Drinks and Dwellings once again offers special access to a rare never before open to the public home. This year's venue highlights one of the most prolific residential architects working in the 1950's and 1960's in Gainesville, David Reaves. In the absence of an archive, Gainesville Modern's VIP cocktail party will be helping document and celebrate one of the designer's best commissions - a home now owned by renowned local artist, musician, and all-around Renaissance man, Daniel Stepp. Located in NW Gainesville's Floral Park, the home, originally designed for archaeologist John Goggin and built in 1960, is located at 4024 NW 15th Street, GAINESVILLE Florida 32605. The party is $75 and is limited to 100 guests. No sales at the door. The night will include work by the artist, live jazz and hor d'oeuvres from 6 pm to 9 pm.
